Ecor International is a key partner in the European Union-funded Lasers4MaaS project, which aims to revolutionize high-power laser welding through Dynamic Beam Shaping (DBL) and digital servitization. The initiative focuses on developing advanced technologies for sustainable and decentralized industrial production, integrating AI-driven digital platforms for real-time process optimization, predictive maintenance, and sustainability assessments.

Ecor International contributes its expertise in welding and processing of pipes and components across various sectors, including packaging machines, aerospace, defense, advanced mechanics, and hydrogen energy. The company is hosting five demonstrators within the project to showcase the practical applications of these technologies.

The Lasers4MaaS project brings together a consortium of leading academic institutions and industry partners from across Europe, working collaboratively to advance laser welding capabilities and promote smarter, decentralized manufacturing. The project commenced in January 2025 and is scheduled for completion in 2028.
