Last February 11^th and 12th, the Lasers4MaaS consortium gathered for its 1 year review!

All 12 partners—spanning academia, industry, and the innovation ecosystem—came together to review our progress to date and outline the road ahead.

We assessed each work package, aligned on upcoming priorities, and reinforced our shared mission: to unlock a new era of decentralised, sustainable, and intelligent manufacturing through the servitisation of laser‑welding technologies.

Lasers4MaaS is building a flexible, AI‑driven, and fully interoperable Manufacturing‑as‑a‑Service (MaaS) platform that enables manufacturers to customise, evolve, and optimise their processes—without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Our six‑pillar strategy—Reconfigure, Connect, Control, Predict, Improve, Comply—is shaping the factories of tomorrow, supporting the European Green Deal, and accelerating transformation across the automotive, aerospace, fusion, hydrogen, and food‑packaging sectors.
